FIRST ENTRY;

today was sooo tiring! i had to wake up at, like, seven, which is really early for me, and wander around onyx harbour until a nice trainer pointed me toward the pokémon lab. i. almost. boarded. the. boat. without. my. starter. so, i ran over rather quickly to get one. i was there for all of one minute before a pretty girl named lucy popped around the corner. she was one of the aids, and had been out swimming. the rain made everyone come in, though... well, she offered me some advice and gave me a bag full of supplies i will need on my journey. it only took me a moment to find my pokémon partner - a female charmander i named sirenia. ren is... well - a handful to say the least. but she's amazing.

i hopped on the ferry to get over to emerald island about an hour later, right before it took off. we landed there and i was immediately amazed - it was so lively, especially with the bluebell forest and all. we went to the pokécenter and met a girl there who pointed me to a young girl's house. she needed me to help her catch a pokémon because she didn't have one of her own to battle with. ren and i did our best to help little penelope out! i found a taillow while we were walking back - it was wounded pretty badly and probably just a pawn of some terrible trainer's. i took her to the lab with me to get healed up and decided to keep her with me. her name's willow. then, we went strolling through the forest because i have a need to explore, you know. well, we found the rain shrine, a lovely little place with a nice trainer there. his name? summer.
