- fire, your on your own - If you know your not going to win then why are you here in the first place!? he thought. Summer felt like strangling the girl, but refrained as she began a whole new rant. He raised an eyebrow as Kira told him he was lying, and that he should be truthful and blah blah. At this note, the blond began to laugh. Seriously, Kira must be the stupidest broad in the entire world. What a waste of human life, honestly. Despite this fact, he still looked forward to creaming her at the contest hall.
"Are you completely out of your mind?" Summer took another ravioli and popped it into his mouth. He didn't know what else to say to Kira without her going off on another retarded rant. "Listen, I'm not lying about anything here. You just need to stop being so paranoid." Fiore giggled as he sipped his strawberry lemonade, not sparing Ariel any looks of acknowledgment. It was as if the water pokemon wasn't even there to begin with. Fiore tended to ignore male pokemon who just didn't meet up to his standards. He only hang out with the best.
"Seriously calm down." Summer slurped up another ravioli, smiling at the way the tomato sauce tasted. "Definitely the best ravioli's I ever ate." he mentioned out loud. Hopefully Kira would forget about her dellusions and get a little real. Maybe they could actually hold a conversation without her completely freaking out over something so minimal. "Besides if I didn't like you, I would've told it to your face by now." Hah, yeah right. Sooner or later Kira would discover his true colors, but she'll probably so clueless she won't even notice anything different.

------------------------------------------------------ Kira shut her mouth, but her eyes stayed on him. No, she wasn't reading him or any of the sort, she was simply thinking. 'Same, but different.' "His eyes never glimmered like that." She murmured quietly. Summer's eyes didn't show the same kind of hatred, it was different, more like 'I'm better than you and I can kick your butt' kind of hatred, the one she was familiar with was the 'I hate you for you.' that was the one that really got her ticking.
"Sorry." She said once again. "I overreact sometimes and have weird mood swings. Some say I may be bipolar." She said stuffing her mouth with her food. As soon as she was done she wiped her mouth and simply stared at the tables surface. "Mr. Summer, do you hate anyone?" She didn't really know where that question came from. She was probably hoping for him to say 'I hate you'. She wouldn't be bothered by it, having heard the words many times before and Summer was no friend of hers and not even a life-long enemy so she wouldn't care, but for some reason she was hoping he'd say that.
She was weird like that, she found reason and drive in the oddest things, mostly hateful words. It was probably because she wanted to prove them wrong. She wanted to show that she could play the same game and win. She wondered if she played Summer's game would she win? how would he react if he lost? Would she be happy she won? Curiouser and curiouser. Kira's eyes suddenly lite up, having another odd idea in her head. She put her hand over her mouth making sure she didn't say anything as she continued to think it over.
'Character differences...that boy and I were so opposite that when we battled that one time in the contest, the crowd absolutely loved it.' In interviews the audience answered that they could really feel the tension and rivalry, it even got the judges excited. She wondered...if she could repeat that with Summer. Well...probably not the exact same tension, and she hasn't really seen Summer's style so she couldn't coordinate it as well as it should, but that was the challenge wasn't it? "Hmmn...'Save the juicy stuff for the stage'...huh?" She murmured again.
By this time Ariel had totally forgotten about the Bulbasaur and was looking at his trainer like she had absolutely, truly, lost her sanity. She was murmuring to herself! Now, this didn't happen often, in fact, it was probably the first time he's seen her so deep in thought and not actually blabbing it out like usual. He always suspected that his trainer had split personalities or whatever the humans called it, but he never thought he'd be stuck with such a loony.

- fire, your on your own - Your telling me. he thought at the bipolar comment. What gears were loose in this chick's head? As the blond continued to eat away at his ravioli, he couldn't help but think about his journey ahead. He'd face Quinn one day, sooner or later he'd run into him and then what would he do? How would he react? No doubt he'd be with his boyfriend.... Would Summer completely lose it? No, he wouldn't. He'd have to keep his cool and act like he's much better off! Yeah! And then challenge him and his little hubby to a pokemon battle. Two on two! Well it'd look kind of lame if I just battle against them....Argh! I need to find someone to pretend to be my boyfriend so I can look like I'm ontop of the world. But so far he hasn't encoutnered any boys on this trip. Perhaps when he gets to Emerald Island?
Summer snapped back to reality when Kira asked him if he hated anyone. Did he hate Quinn? Did he really hate him? Maybe he did, but underneath it all he still had feelings for him. After being together for about two years how could he just let all hsi love suddenly vanish. It was still there, just buried deep inside his heart. "Of course I hate someone. Everyone hates someone." he stated. Fiore sipped his strawberry lemonade relaxed a bit, enjoying the calm before he'd have to head out and start battling other pokemon. "Don't you hate anyone? There's bound to be someone you don't like."
Was it possible to hate someone? Hate them? Fully hate them? Summer didn't feel like thinking about something so in depth, so he just took another bite out of his ravioli. He raised an eyebrow when she muttered something else; Another bipolar moment? he wondered. The blond sighed and took a long gulp of his own lemonade. Kira was seriously too much; "What are you rambling on about now?" he asked. Summer didn't understand why he was sitting here having lunch with this clueless girl. Did he seriously have nothing else better to do?

------------------------------------------------------ Felix Lestridgeabout me | pokemon | bag | journal | pc” Your words were like a dream, But dreams could never fool me…”------------------------------------------------------ Ah, the poor sap. He felt sorry for the boy who had to put up with her. At first he had thought that the boy was a 'friend' of hers, but clearly it was just the opposite. He found out when she had made the outburst of him lying. He had smirked when the boy actually 'attempted' to calm her. Amateur didn't know that you couldn't win against fools, and the girl he was with was the biggest of them all.
He'd been watching them ever since they stepped into view, he had to admit he was surprised, and he thought he was seeing red for a moment, but it quickly dissolved. Said sap was no threat to him now that he knew he wasn't exactly into the opposite gender. It was obvious to him, since he was slightly the same as the boy. He heard pieces of their conversation since he wasn't that far off and he heard her question the boy is he hated anyone. 'Ah, so she's still as dense as ever.' He thought. Then he heard her murmuring 'and apparently still mental. Poor boy must be getting a headache by now.' He smirked again, as he sipped at his cup of tea. Ruri had just finished eating her cake and his newest companion, the Charmander who he simply dubbed as 'Fira' was also done eating his fire crackers.
He heard the boy ask if she hated anyone. Ah that was his cue, he slowly stood up trying not to be too obvious. She couldn't see him because he had been sitting behind her. "What are you rambling on about now?" He almost actually laughed at that. It was time to save the poor sap of this unending torture. "There's no use asking her about her sanity, luv. She's as dense and mental as they get." He said going behind her and wrapping his long, pale, feminine fingers around her neck and tightening ever so slightly.
"Hello darling," He greeted her, "missed me?" He questioned, then looked towards the boy. His eyes shining an icy blue color. His Charmander and Azurill were by his side, Fira holding Ruri in his arms. "I don't quite understand," He began, loosening his grip on the red-head's neck as he spoke to the boy, "why you are wasting your heinous breath, on this moronic midget." His tone holding an icy tone, he felt his prey shiver under his touch.

------------------------------------------------------ Kira Saint-Rueabout me | posse | bag | journal | laptop"Kiss me darling, I’ll be the poison. Love me darling, I’ll be your cure. "------------------------------------------------------ She was about to answer Mr. Summer's question when she felt a familiar cold sting at the back of her neck. Then she heard his voice. That voice she sometimes wished would be there just to insult her so she wouldn't be lonely and the same that she feared and despised the most. She wasn't paying much attention to whatever he was saying, since his mere presence had her frozen stiff. He had always had that affect on her, so why didn't she feel him before?
She whimpered, and she whimpered even more when she saw the Charmander! 'Wahh! why'd he have to pick the lizard and fire type?! It's because he hates me isn't?!' she thought frantically as she tried to scoot away, but she felt his finger go around her neck and squeeze ever so slightly. He always did this, he loved causing pain, he was insane like that. 'And he questioned my sanity?!' She was panicking, she didn't like being around such a dark aura such as his, but she couldn't help but feel comforted at the same time, like an old friend was back.
'As if! He wants to kill me! Not be his friend!' she thought as her mind registered him asking is she missed him. "No way!" She had exclaimed, she hated him...didn't she?
Okay, now this was just stupid. Who was this guy now? He looked as much trouble as blondie over there! Arcues, Ariel was getting a very large splitting headache, and he only grew more irritated when he saw the Charmander! Were these three supposed to meet by some mutated twist of fate?! He shook his head trying not to think about it. He felt Kira shiver from under him and he looked at her only to see her looking quite embarrassed, or angered. Arcues he needed a vacation from all of this.

- fire, your on your own - Summer raised an eyebrow as a slender black haired male approached them. Before he could say anything his hands were around Kira's neck, clenching it lightly. The blond's eyes widened, a little taken a back by the boy's sudden actions. It was as if he knew her! "There's no use asking her about her sanity, luv. She's as dense and mental as they get." Apparently so. he thought. The boy then went on to address Kira as 'darling', which almost made the coordinator burst out laughing. What a total homo. he thought with a wicked grin. This guy was pretty hot, maybe he could use him for something important? Yes, he seems perfect! Although he did look a little too dark and creepy for his tastes.
Why am I forced to encounter all these weirdos. Hopefully Summer would be able to meet some admirable foes on his actual journey. With some charm, Summer was sure he'd be able to seduce Felix no problem. His presence seemed to effect Kira a lot though, which was weird. Do they share some sort of dark past? Who cares. he thought. "I didn't know Kira knew such attractive men." Summer gave Felix a heartwarming smile as he stood up, putting a hand out for him to shake. This time it was Fiore's turn to roll his eyes. As if his master was any different from himself.
"Bulba!" cried Fiore as he noticed the boy's charmander. Summer found it interesting that all three of them shared Kanto's starter pokemon; bulbasaur, squirtle, and charmander. Pah, everyone knew bulbasaur was the best one out of the three! Fiore just snubbed the charmander, deeming it unworthy of contact. He didn't care if he was a fire pokemon, it just made the challenge all that more appealing. "So tell me.....What's your name?" Summer took a step closer to the boy, his face coming awfully close to the others; "I'm sure your name is just as attractive as your face." The blond winked at the dark haired male, hoping to make him fluster a bit.
Even though Kira was a completely hopeless individual, he still thought it was pretty creepy of this newcomer to treat her in such a manner. It's not like the coordinator cared, he was just making a unique observation. Quinn will totally be jealous of this guy. His current boyfriend must be a total loser. Summer was nervous and excited to see his ex once more. More nervous than excited though. He hasn't spoken to him since the day he broke it off in order to get with someone else. The mere thought of that whole situation made Summer's nerves burn with hatred.

------------------------------------------------------ Felix Lestridgeabout me | pokemon | bag | journal | pc” Your words were like a dream, But dreams could never fool me…”------------------------------------------------------ Well, the sap's poor attempt at flirting with him was a sure sign that he was no threat. He thought he would feel relieved at that, but somehow he only felt more apprehensive. He smiled, it was constrained, but it was the closest he could get it, to the smile he usually only showed to his pokemon. "That's because she's too dense to know she's in the presence of greatness." He replied haughtily. Ah, his old self was resurfacing. He hadn't really referred to himself in such a...'self-praising' way in so long. He found it quite tiresome nowadays.
Summer commented on his looks, of course he would. It was no surprise. Felix's hold on Kira's neck loosened all together as he released her. It felt good, and a sadistic smirk graced his lips as he saw the faint, reddish flesh where his fingers had been, he hoped they would bruise. They looked quite beautiful against her light skin tone. Then he returned his attention back to Summer. His icy blue eyes, almost turning a silvery color. He smiled again. "And I am certain your pretty words, match you villainous attitude. I like." He replied as he stretched out his own hand and held Summer's hand and shook it as he introduced himself. "Felix, luv. Try not abuse it."
He released the other boy's hand, and quickly got a chair to join their table. "Sit down, darling." He told the other boy as he sat down. Fira brought Ruri to Felix, who promptly waved his hand over to the red-head. Fira simply shrugged and dumped the Azurill to the girl as he resumed standing by his trainer. Felix knew Ruri would keep the blabbering fool busy. "I'll assume now that the midget has yet to even think of her next plan of action," He said as he turned to Summer "and instead ask you. Hopefully you'll be a more sensible conversation." He said to Summer as he crossed his legs and rested his head on his right palm. 'And hopefully I can get the midget to stay far away from him.'

------------------------------------------------------ Kira Saint-Rueabout me | posse | bag | journal | laptop" What if I'd cried my eyes out and begged you not to depart?"------------------------------------------------------ She seriously thought her eyes twitched a few dozen times when she saw them being friendly to each other. Not that she really cared, but she never really saw her most despised person being friendly with anyone, and for the first time in two years, she finally knew his name. Felix, as soon as she heard that she immediately though of the cat. What had he meant about not knowing the presence of greatness? Bah, Felix always spoke in riddles anyways. He also had an odd way of either complimenting and at the same time insulting someone…at least that’s what she thought, or perhaps it was just playful banter?
Felix had sat down with them and he commented on how she hadn’t planned for her next move yet. She blushed a bit, feeling embarrassed that it was true. He would know of course. She was always one step behind of everyone. She mostly went on impulses really, never really thinking things through. Kira jumped when the Charmander had approached her and was a little shocked when it dumped the Azurill in her arms. Kira looked down at the Azurill and saw that it was near tears. “Oh no! Don’t cry! It’s okay!” She said trying to calm it by rocking it like a baby. It began to calm down slowly and even started to giggle a little. “Aww your so cute! I don’t get how you got such an evil guy to be your trainer!” She cooed.
Kira watched as Felix conversed with Summer and she felt like adding her two cents in. “Don’t trust him, Mr. Summer! This guy is evil! All he wants to do is see people in pain!” She declared, she knew Felix wouldn’t be fazed by the words having heard them a thousand times by now. It was true though! The boy was a sadistic, manipulating, insensitive prat that cared only for himself! “And stop calling me ‘midget’. It’s Kira! K-I-R-A!” She said turning to Felix with a slightly irritated look.

- fire, your on your own - Felix was an attractive male, but his constant use of 'darling and 'luv' were starting to pinch at Summer's nerves. His attitude made him look like a total prick, whichvwasn't in the least attractive. It was if he was better than him, and no coordinator was better than the blond at this point. I can already tell he's going to play hard to get. Summer wasn't sure if he wanted to devote his time and energy to charming this guy, who'll surely make him work for such a 'prize'. The coordinator was sure he'd find a much easier target to seduce.
"Actually, Kira was telling me she was going to Emerald Island to participate in the contest being hosted there. I assume your off in the same direction?" Summer tilted his head and rested his chin on his palm, looking at Felix with violet eyes. "If so, I'm quite eager to face you both in the competition. It's not like you'll have much of a chance though." he stated with a sigh. "If only I could find more competent opponents." Summer could be considered a villain, but not as much as Felix. That guy took it to a whole new level. He didn't seem much of a threat anyway; just some prissy rich boy whose all talk and no action. Feh, figures.
Summer closed his eyes for a moment and opened them, his dreamy gaze targeted at Felix when Kira mentioned the whole 'he likes to see people in pain' trait about their new companion. The blond believed it, for he could obviously see this hint of sadism in Felix's eyes. Unfortunately he wouldn't be able to back it up much, especially with a charmander and a azurill. At this point he didn't know who he disliked more, clueless Kira or creepster Felix. The dark haired kid sure wasn't innocent, but the girl on the other hand.....Even though Summer didn't want to admit it, she seemed like the most innocent person he's ever met. But innocence didn't exist, remember? Well perhaps it did. Maybe the reason why Summer's so hostile towards her was because she reminds him of himself in the past. Back when he thought nothing could go wrong.
"For someone who seems so cordial, you don't have any manners. She does have a name you know." The blond didn't understand why he was defending Kira at this moment. Maybe it's cause the whole 'better than you' attitude was pissing him off. Summer realized he had to put this little frail kid in his proper place. Whatever, I'm so not doing it for that totally oblivious loser. he thought.

------------------------------------------------------ Felix Lestridgeabout me | pokemon | bag | journal | pc” Your words were like a dream, But dreams could never fool me…”------------------------------------------------------ He had to scoff at the obvious question. "Of course. Isn't that where everyone is going?" He replied, rolling his eyes. Then Summer commented about finding some 'competent' competition. Well, as far as Felix could see, he wasn't very 'competent' either. Probably none of them were, as of yet. He didn't even wanna question about 'Kira'. He was a taken a back by that. Two years he'd simply been referring to her as 'that girl' or 'midget' but now he finally knew her name, or at least what she wanted to be known by.
"You aren't exactly very competent yourself either. Technically none of us are at the moment, seeing were all just starting." Felix pointed out, see how he didn't say he was more competent than them? ah, he was getting better... "But from what I can see, your Bulbasaur could have a bit of trouble in the long run."...or maybe not.
"For example, My Charmander has the type advantage over yours, so it wouldn't fair well in the battle stages," Felix pointed to Summer's Bulbsaur, "but when it comes to appeals with moves such as razor leaf, vine whip and perhaps petal dance, it has a definite advantage." He smiled then he turned over to Kira.
"Now, for the Squirtle. Obviously your Bulbasaur has the type advantage and perhaps even in appeals," He said looking at the strange Squirtle that was wearing a pair of sun glasses and a leather jacket. "However, if Squirtle learns ice moves such as blizzard or ice beam, then your Bulbasaur could be in for a lot of trouble." He said turning back to Summer, looking at him pointedly.
"Rain Dance combined with Blizzard could be used for both battle and as an appeal, with this combination Kira could have a definite 'terrain advantage'." he said having emphasized her name, to prove he did have some slight manners. Then he turned to Kira with a slight glare. "I'm giving you valuable information Kira, you should be taking notes."
"Of course, factors like these are meaningless. In the end it all goes down to the skill of the Coordinator and his/her relationship with their pokemon." He hadn't spoken that much in a while, but this little lesson wasn't really because he was trying to prove a point, this was so he could shove some knowledge into that girl's thick skull. He knew enough that she was still an amateur, and wouldn't stand a chance against this 'Mr. Summer' who looked to have some experience like he himself did. 'Hmph, the only one I'm interested in facing is the girl, this guy and everyone else can just go wallow in a corner in self-pity, but I can't face her if she gets beat by someone else before I get my turn.'
He sat there looking like he was bored, but he was thinking of way to get the air-head out of this conversation and away from this guy. 'Just keep talking and hopefully piss him off, if not act like your pissed off and drag the midget with you.' He thought as he thought of how exactly he was going to 'drag her off' 'Then again she'll probably just follow on her own like always.'
"To be honest with you, Mr. Summer," Felix addressed him the way Kira did, he found it amusing. "I don't really plan on participating much, I don't even plan to win," He paused as he drew circular patterns on the table top. "All I plan to do...is watch and hope for some competent entertainment." He smirked slyly. It was true, he didn't plan to participate much since his 'condition' really wouldn't allow for any excess physical strain that could cause him to grow stressed and collapse. he had only planned to watch at first, perhaps compete when he felt up to it, but now he was tempted to participate in all of them if it meant she was gonna be competing too. ______________________________________________________ note: Pfft. nothing but dialogue -has no muse-
