Event Ideas!

For the month of October: Halloween Event!!
Features:

• Games - has yet to be specified, win some prizes!
  
• Mock Contests - self explanatory
  
• Mock Battles - where trainers can battle each other
  
• Ghost Pokemon Gathering - the ghosties will come out to play, and eprhaps some trainers would like to catch their own little ghost?
  
• Trick or Treat - Ghost Pokemon appear randomly and give coordinators...Rare Candy[or other stuff], or perhaps they give them a fake gift that explodes in their face! xDDD
  
• Rides, Food and Fun! Oh My! - Walk around, have some cotton candy, ride a few rides, perhaps even build up some friendships or even meet a likely rival?!
  
• Harvest Moon Watching! - And to close off the event, everyone will gather to watch the Harvest Moon! It's pretty go watch it! Quick!
  
  
  
  **Radar and I just had a few ideas and decided to share them with everyone and see what you think. If you have any other ideas or suggestions, post it, post it, post it!

Here's my suggestion:

• Haunted Mansion Contest
  Now the prize is something worthwhile, but basically the contest is going inside a huge mansion. All participants will be blindfolded and separated into different parts of the mansion. A midnight they'll be instructed to take off their blindfolds and begin exploring the mansion. Of course the mansion will harbor tons of ghost (and other type) pokemon. Anyways the whole point is for the coordinator to battle their way through the mansion in search for a special item. If coordinator's run into other coordinators they are able to engage in battle. However the coordinator that loses will be eliminated from the competition.

Hope that doesn't sound complicated lol.

My small suggestion is perhaps a Halloween-themed art contest, dressing up you characters, or maybe drawing Halloween costumes for our pokemon? There could be a roleplay-version of it too, where you describe your costume, and people vote for the best one. ^^
Or perhaps it could be a combination. The person who wins the describing is the subject of the art people are trying to draw/photoshop/make a pixel of. Or it could be for the coordinators themselves.

...I really want to dress something/someone up in a costume. Halloween themed contests or something! >w</~<3

problem is, i don't know if orange and rexi are having enough time to organize that sort of event so close. they haven't been very active lately and i think RL is catching up with them. if they approve however, i'll be more than happy to help and plan it out some more, mkay?

We don't really have to trouble Rex or Orange to organize the event. It's what mods are for! We do need their approval though. -nod-
I would also be willing to help with the event -a vendor/clerk/kiosk/worker/watever perhaps?- Y'know since it was kind of my(and Radar's, but he's busy too) idea and I sort of have to take responsibility in some way. xD

I would feel bad if I left all the work to everyone else.
