Trevor didn't know why he was doing this. Really, he had wanted this journey for himself, not so that he could prance about like some stupid ranger and do good deeds for perfect strangers. It was so that he could learn to be a coordinator and prove to his family that he wasn't some kid who wouldn't amount to much. He was going to be one of--no, the!--best coordinators out there. But... well, that lady had mentioned a reward. And all he needed to do was go searching for some object in bluebell forest. And he was going to head there anyway, so it didn't really matter...right? He would just be taking a little detour from his real goal. So long as he reached it, the means didn't matter.
With a huff, the male almost stomped through the forest, making a bit of noise as he went. He was kicking aside leaves and crashing through bushes, searching for this "rose incense." He didn't really know exactly what it looked like, but he had a vague idea. It was called a "rose" incense, so it must look a little pink-ish, and he knew what an incense looked like--it was round with holes in it. Right? Ech. Whatever. Close enough. If he didn't find her Rose Incense, he could always just buy it. It wasn't like she would know the difference.
"What do you think, Walter?" the boy asked his Charmander, who was trailing after him. The Charmander looked a little indifferent, almost as if he'd rather not be there at the moment, but there he was, and he was certainly not going to run away. Walter rather liked getting fed for free and getting plenty of rest in that Pokeball, thank you very much. It was a lot comfortable than it looked, really. "Char," the Pokemon said, giving his surroundings a quick skim. All he was worried about was not setting the entire forest on fire with his tail. Not that he really cared about all the wild Pokemon, he just didn't want to get in trouble for all that. It would just be a horrible pain to get arrested for arson or something. Then he'd never grow into a powerful and gigantic Charizard and get away with things like accidentally setting fire to an entire forest. But really, he just wanted to be inside that warm Pokeball right now, not outside. With a huff, the Charmander picked up his pace to try and keep up with Trevor.
