After roaming around the forest some more, Summer ended up finding a little shrine covered by the leaves of tall trees. There was a large pool of water, as well as a waterfall that trickled right into the pool which turned into a stream that went deeper into the forest. Now this was the perfect opportunity to allow Bella and Scarlett some down time in the water. After all, a pokemon needed to be exposed to the earth's natural resources in order to attain maximum beauty. It was also a good time for Summer to rest from walking; How long is this damn forest anyway? The blond sighed as he layed back on a large boulder, letting his eyes close a bit.
"Luvdisc!" Scarlett swam through the water, glad she was finally able to take a dip in the water. While walking through the Bluebell Forest Summer encountered an adoption center. There he saw Scarlett and immediately adopted her, and thank god too. She was so sick of being around loser ass pokemon who were dumped by their trainers because they were stupid and ugly. Finally a pretty trainer has decided to take her under his wing. She knew it was only a matter of time before she'd become the best of the best! The prettiest of them all! Summer definitely had the will and ability to make this happen. Oh how excited she was for the first contest!
Bella's eye twitched as Scarlett zipped around her, annoyed that the fish had the nerve to bother her while she tried to take a nap. Why did Summer have to adopt such a slut? She was dumped for an obvious reason, why couldn't he see that? Sometimes Bella thought Summer was clueless, but trusted him for the most part. He couldn't be a coordinator with just one pokemon, that was just silly. Scarlett was an annoyance, but she was some healthy competition. Desdemona on the other hand was just a pest! Bella though she was too naive and too innocent to be apart of Summer's team.
Fiore was currently in his pokeball so that he wouldn't disturb the peace of the ladies. besides, he's seen enough action already in the forest. Desdemona was flying around, picking at berries growing in the bushes surrounding the shrine. Bella opened one eye to look at the small bird fumble about, which almost made her blast the natu with a water gun. She refrained, knowing Summer wouldn't approve. Closing her eye again, the lapras tried to take a nap despite the whizzing of Scarlett down below. Ugh, that girl was a swimmer. Not as good as Bella though, far from in fact.

------------------------------------------------ Emerald Island was, without a doubt, one of the most gorgeous places he had ever seen. The place was beautiful and so lively. Life just emanated from the island and a few of the people on it. Not many people actually settled on the island. Why? Well, because so many new trainers came and went quickly. As coordinators, quite a few of the kids could be rather snobby. Trainers, though . . . They were amazing to have around at times, and quite joyous to speak to. All could discuss their new partners with each other. Most of them had at least two Pokémon, but Kadyn was perfectly happy with his little Charmander. Sirenia was tucked inside her Poké Ball comfortably, the ball only twitching occasionally to let him know how she was doing. He asked for her to communicate with him when necessary, and whether she understood or not, he didn't know. It was hard to understand what new Pokémon were trying to tell you. They could be confusing with their sign language of sorts, but they at least tried. Pokémon seemed to understand their trainers well, though! They responded quickly when asked to use attacks, so obviously they didn't need to process things to understand what one was saying to them. Sometimes, he could have guessed that they even learned phrases like 'I love you' that became prominent to the trainer as time went on.
After his run-in with a girl named Penelope, he had traveled back to the Pokémon Center and gotten healed up before coming back to the forest. Bluebell Forest was nice, he had to say. Pokémon thrived with such force that it was amazing people had been allowed to rest on the island, let alone make a settlement. Sighing deeply, he drudged through the forest, eyes on the floor. For some reason, it had just been odd going for so long without anyone to speak to. He'd been walking for about two hours since his travel from the Pokécenter, and now? It was just creepy. It wasn't dark or anything, but it was odd to be one of the few humans wandering so deep into a Pokémon-controlled forest. Wandering through was something to be noted as mysterious. Every single rustle of the bushes or shake of the tree branches made him shiver in wonder. What kinds of Pokémon lurked in the dark places around him? And what wonders did the forest hold for the few people who dared venture so far out into it?
Kade lifted his head up as the sound of running water filled his ears. Water pounding against water. It sounded more like a small waterfall than a running stream. Interested, he tilted his head, white hair falling in front of his blue eyes as he moved. A Pokémon came clearly into his vision as he moved, facing the back of what appeared to be a boulder. A Luvdisc darted about and a Lapras dozed, or attempted to, in the water ahead. A Natu fluttered around, and it was quite obvious that they were not wild. Curiously, he made his way around the boulder in an attempt to get a closer look at it. Could this be the Rain Shrine he'd heard of? As he moved, it became clear that the trainer was near. For a blonde boy was resting up against a rock, obviously the coordinator responsible for the Pokémon out. He put on a small smile and picked up a hand as a sort of wave before pulling his own Poké Ball out and releasing Sirenia, not really minding the other boy all too much. She would be thirsty, though, so she deserved a drink. In an attempt to be good-natured, he nodded at the boy. "Have fun finding your way here," he asked jokingly. ------------------------------------------------ ღ 《 vσιcє 》 σғ 「♩」 тнє 《 sєα 》 ღ

Luvdisc halted her swift swimming maneuvers at the sight of a white haired boy. "Luv?" Bella opened one eye and looked on at the individual, who decided to release a Charmander. "Errrooo...." The lapras obviously didn't sound welcoming, and neither did the Luvdisc, who rolled her eyes at the sight of the fire pokemon. That little fire rat just wandered into a lion's den; Desdemona blinked at the boy and his charmander, curious as to who and where they came from. Were they traveling in the forest just like her trainer? They didn't seem like a hostile duo, perhaps it'd be okay to approach them? "Tu?" The little bird pokemon hoped over to the charmander and tilted her head.
"Hm?" Summer opened up his eyes at the sound of another coordinator. "What the....?" he muttered, a little confused. Violet eyes peered at the charmander for a couple seconds before scanning the white haired boy. Hey, he's pretty cute.... he thought. Suddenly an idea snapped right into his head; He looks like perfect boyfriend material. Well enough to make Quinn totally jealous! Summer's smile became wide as he stood up, extending a hand to the other male. "The forest has nothing on me." he stated with a confident grin. "I'm Summer." he stated.
The blond only had one goal in mind when coming to the Golden Islands. He would become top coordinator and totally beat his rival right into the ground! Who was his rival? His ex-boyfriend of course! Summer couldn't concentrate on anything else; revenge was the only thing on his mind at this point. Revenge not only against Quinn, but his new boy toy. he thought. Yes, to be specific Summer's goal was to challenge Quinn and his boyfriend to a double pokemon battle. Of course, the blond needed a partner for the challenge. Unfortunately he was single, so either he had to find a boyfriend, or someone willing to pretend to be his boyfriend. He'll stoop to any level just to humiliate them both. Just like how they humiliated him.
"Natu!" Summer chuckled; "It seems our pokemon are getting along quite nicely." That was only one of them, Bella and Scarlett already wanted nothing to do with the charmander, and if he released Fiore....Well, he'll just suffer from a heart attack brought on by too much estrogen. Well his charmander looks okay...I wonder if he has any other pokemon.... Summer wanted to make sure this kid was strong before seducing him into being his boyfriend. If he couldn't catch up with him, then there was no way he'd stand a chance against Quinn. He may have never battled him before, but that boy has just as much passion as Summer. That thought alone worried the coordinator.
"You have very beautiful hair." he commented, using one hand to lightly brush Kade's bangs back. It was moves like these that made the boys and girls scream for more! Summer smiled sweetly at the boy, hoping to charm him. Perhaps the Golden Islands league had more competent and more attractive participants, rather than retarded and clueless Kira. Speaking of which, he wondered how she was faring at the moment. Had she already reached Emerald Island? Who cares. he thought. As if he'd waste time thinking about her.

------------------------------------------------ Sirenia was rather cautious about the place where she was released. The sights and sounds were all too much for her - she hadn't been out anywhere this unique, yet! The first thing to catch her eye was probably the water, which she had yet to ever see. Well, yes, she'd seen water, but a body of water in the wild? Not that. Her eyes brightened and her whole orange/red body shook in delight. She was about to bolt toward the water but her lizard-like feet didn't move off the ground. Something else was there. A large blue Pokémon that looked like a sea creature, untamed by a trainer. A Lapras! But it didn't seem all too thrilled to see her... She blinked slowly, then noticed the flickering pink disc-shaped Pokémon flitting around the water near her. A Luvdisc, was it? Well, it seemed about as friendly toward her as the Lapras, so obviously there was an issue. Maybe she was just odd-looking? Or was she too weak? Her body quivered and she stared in awe until she heard it - claws against the ground near her. She turned her head to see what was approaching, only to come face-to-face with a green bird Pokémon. Its head was tilted to the side, looking at her with a rather... Perceptive stare.
With bright orange eyes, she stared at it in amazement at it. "Char! Charmander?" Her tail swished in amusement at the thought of another Pokémon. The Natu seemed friendly, she had to admit. Kadyn looked at the pair in amusement, taking joy in knowing that Ren was a rather social Pokémon. It was only the sound of the blonde trainer getting up that shook him out of his trance. A chuckle came from his mouth at the witty reply and he took a step forward to take Summer's hand. "Nice to meet you, Summer! My name's Kadyn, but my friends all call me Kade." He smiled brightly, amusement filling his eyes as he looked over at Summer. That was a nice name - it was happy and upbeat, just like names should have been. He pulled back his hand, letting it fall at his side while he shifted his weight to his left leg like he did when he was relaxed. Ren looked back a him quickly and he shot her a smile, feeling the need to laugh once more a her replying face. "Oh, yes! That's Sirenia. She does seem to love your Natu... Your Pokémon are gorgeous. Honestly, they look as though they're in extremely good conditions!" He smiled brightly as he looked over at the Luvdisc and Lapras, thinking about the Taillow he left at the Pokémon Center. He'd gotten both his Pokémon that day and already Ren was a bit stronger. Willow was about as strong as any started Pokémon, but she was in need of rest. Which was why he didn't take her with him. He figured that once he explored he would go back to collect his bird Pokémon and say goodbye to the Nurse Joy he had a small conversation with. Sirenia held up her paw to the Natu, attempting to communicate something to it. With a dead-serious look, she tilted her head like the Natu did and gave it a smile. "Mander?" Kade looked up again as a hand brushed back his bangs, getting the white hair out of his eyes. Not noticing anything odd about this because he was so acceptant of touch, he just looked back at Summer with bright blue eyes. "Thank you! Though I do love your hair much better. I could only wish that my hair was blonde like yours!" He shut up, seeming to understand that he was getting a bit to talkative and rambling. "Is this the Rain Shrine," he asked suddenly, motioning around them with an arm. Way to use that self-diagnosed ADD, right?[/blockquote] ------------------------------------------------ ღ 《 vσιcє 》 σғ 「♩」 тнє 《 sєα 》 ღ

Kade hmm? he thought. The boy seemed really nice, as well as his charmander. He blinked as he complimented his pokemon and their current beautiful condition. Maybe a little too nice... he thought. Desdemona smiled and flapped her wings in approval when 'Sirenia' lifted her paw towards her. "Tu! Natu!" Well it's nice Des was making an effort to make new friends, after all most of his pokemon didn't really care too much for her. Except for Fiore, but he just smothered her. Oh well, pokemon will be pokemon. he concluded.
When Kade 'thanked' him for the compliment and said he wished he had his hair, Summer almost fell straight to the floor. Was this guy completely clueless!?! The blond thought he would be done with oblivious individuals after meeting Kira back on Jasper Island. Why did this have to happen to him? Summer almost gritted his teeth, but refused to destroy his composure. He'll just have to make more blunt advances towards the kid. Yeah, that's it! I swear to god if this doesn't work.... he thought negatively.
Before he could do anything though, Kade asked if this was the 'Rain Shrine'. Summer blinked and looked around him; "Rain Shrine...? So that's what this place is called." The blond knew this place was of some significance to the people of Ivy Town. "Luv." Scarlett apparently sensed the boys innocence and rolled her eyes at it. Why couldn't people just get with the program? Unfortunately the Golden Islands were filled with a bunch of retards. Summer couldn't agree more, but he was determined to get this guy's attention.
"Oh wow, your skin!" Summer took the boy's hand and put it to his face, feeling Kade's smooth skin. "So soft, so beautiful....Your just the little attractive guy aren't you?" he asked with with a sly smile. Summer held on to his hand and lead him to the small lake were Bella and Scarlett were hanging out. "Let me introduce you to everyone." If this didn't get through the boy then he didn't know what will. Seriously, the blond was tired of dealing with such stupidity. People had the looks here, but definitely not the brains. "This is Scarlett, and that's Bella." Summer gestured to the Luvdisc and Lapras respectively, who didn't give kade much of a reaction. They basically just ignored him.
Man my girls don't know how to be nice. he thought hopelessly. Of course, even human girls acted the same way. "And of course, you've already met Desdemona." he chuckled at the natu, who was busy making friends with Kade's charmander. The white haired kid was extremely cute, but he didn't know how on earth he'd agree to his complex plan. Was Kade even attracted to the same gender? Ugh, unfortunately Summer couldn't tell with this one.

------------------------------------------------ Ren was obviously enjoying the fact that there was someone to converse with, or even look at, other than Kade. She needed other people or Pokémon occasionally and Willow and her partner just wouldn't cut it. Without much thought, her eyes trained themselves on Desdemona's wings as she flapped them. Such bright, pretty colors... It was amazing how such simple things could distract her. She and Kade were the same in that way - they enjoyed the simple things. It wasn't hard to amuse the duo with stars, rain, and the little joys out of every day things. Though she was a fire Pokémon, Ren had a special affinity toward rain. Maybe it was something from when she first hatched, but she could remember it like it was yesterday. Rain, pounding down on her... Lowering her flame until she was almost completely passed out. It was amazing that though she was young she could remember it, but if the Captain saw nothing wrong with her, she was obviously fine as becoming an asset to another trainer's team. "Char!" Ren poked out an arm to tag Des, attempting to start a ame between the two of them. Kadyn tilted his head so he could examine the cushiony ground, scuffling his feet to see if it would absorb the shock of something hitting it. If it did, the thick forest would make a great battling area. He looked up at Summer in a way that he did to so many things - eyes peering up through his thick lashes. He looked... Adgitated for a moment before the look was covered up by some internal mask. Moving himself so he was stick strait, he stuffed his hands into his pockets and watched. The voice of the blonde made him quiver for a moment, only because he couldn't sense any resentment in his voice. Usually he was extremely perceptive... What was wrong with him? He nodded slightly at Summer's words, looking back at the old monument of sorts. The Rain Shrine was well hidden, he had to say. Did it offer some kind of solace to all who visited? Or did it give good luck to the trainers who found it on their journey? He couldn't help but wonder how many people in Ivy Town had found it. Probably not many since most had only recently moved and not many of them were big Pokémon people. In fact, quite a few people had been rather... Snobby, so to say. They all glared at the coordinators like him - ones that didn't care how they looked or whether their Pokémon were snobby or not. He didn't mind though. Everyone had thier opinions. They were common, after all. The Luvdisc made a soft noise that Kade would have called a scoff had she not been a Pokémon. He couldn't judge man or beast because he had his own problems. Determination shot through Summer's eyes quickly and he darted out to grab Kade's hand after an odd comment. It took everything he had to keep from flinching back from the surprise, so he ground his teeth together to stop himself. Was Summer... Attracted to guys? He knew for a fact that no straight man would make a comment like that unless they were joking... A look of sheer horror passed his face but he tried to cover it up before the other boy saw it. His eyes still big from shock, he glared at their hands as if wishing he could weasel out until he understood everything. Damn him for being so idiotic. "Okay," he muttered, his voice high so he could try to avoid the previous subject. He had no problem with this, but... He wasn't... Well, he just didn't know what to do. He usually wasn't put into these odd situations... Sighing, he walked obediently with Summer to the small pool off water where the Lapras and Luvdisc were. Of course, the distracted teenager immediately forgot what was on his mind as he was introduced to Scarlet and Bella. A look of admiration crossed his face as he stared at them - Lapras was one of his favorite Pokémon in the world. Of course, this one seemed to enjoy ignoring him. Looking at Desdemona with amusement, he chuckled slightly at Ren's odd attempted to play a game. "Were one of these your starter Pokémon?" He hadn't seen any at the lab, but there was always the chance that one of them was brought in randomly by the Captain. "Where are you from," he asked hopefully, hoping he wouldn't sound too eager to change the subject. His own rival, Chloe, was slowly seeping back into his mind. That stupid, stupid trainer...[/blockquote] ------------------------------------------------ ღ 《 vσιcє 》 σғ 「♩」 тнє 《 sєα 》 ღ
