quest info,

quests are a main part of the golden islands so you, the members, can experience different roleplaying experience and to have a little more fun while doing so. of course, there are a few things you must know about quests and here, we will fill you in on them.
*quests,
[/sub][/blockquote][/blockquote]
see those quests which are numbered on the golden island boards? those quests aren’t optional and must be done to enter a contest hall. sounds daunting doesn’t it? but don’t worry, these quests are supposed to be fun and may even help raise experience points of your pokémon, as well as getting money and items! these mandatory quests will be changed less frequently then the quests on bulletin boards.
so, as I said before, you must complete quests to go onto contest halls. take emerald island for example, on the contest hall registration form, it asks if you have completed the first quest. that means, you must complete quest oo1 before you can compete. The same goes to all the other contest halls and islands, you cannot enter the contest hall on that island, unless you have completed all the quests on that particular island.
all quests are different, some include getting your character to battle a npc coordinator and others may need you to help out people in need. all quests give you different prizes at the end, for reward for either beating them or for helping them successfully. some quests may need you to pair up with another coordinator! the staff here support character interaction and because of that, some of the quests are made so you have to get to know other coordinators you are facing again in contests. however, you may partner up with someone on quests even if the quest information says you don’t need to, just be aware that if the quest is a single battle of sorts, you would have to take it in turns because two on one isn’t fair.
the staff of golden islands will be playing the npc characters that you will be interacting with.
*mini quests,
[/sub][/blockquote][/blockquote]
mini quests are optional and don’t have to be done if you don’t want to do them, however, sometimes it is good to do these mini quests because there may be some awesome prizes at the end of the quest! mini quests, since they are optional, can be done individually or in a team, the purpose of quests is to have fun after all!
*bulletin boards,
[/sub][/blockquote][/blockquote]
found on some of the islands are bulletin boards, these boards advertise help that is needed by others. these are optional but some quests have good items, sometimes. we always change what the npc gives you at the end of their little quest, this is so people don’t go for that certain quest just because they think they’re going to get an awesome item like another person did. for example, say coordinator sally completed a task on the bulletin board and got an awesome TM and coordinator billy liked the looks of the TM and wanted one himself, after he completes the same task, he will get a different item completely.
some npcs don’t always keep to the bulletin board and may approach you while you are wondering around the islands. it’s up to you if you want to refuse their cry for help but some may reward you for it later, though some may not bother to thank you!
if you are creating a quest thread, regardless if it is optional or not, please indicate that the thread is a quest for the staff. either place a [q] in the subject for indicate somewhere in the thread, clearly, that you're doing a quest.
