the data book • this is the first place you should visit after joining the golden islands, here is where you will find all the rules and information that you will need during your stay. reading all the content here is essential as you may miss out some important information, make sure to read everything thoroughly.
chitter chatter • (5 sub-boards) here is the main ooc board where you may interact with your fellow site members, there is a games boards, introductions and absences. there is also an art board as well as a question / suggestion board. have fun!
contests and promotions • if the staff hold a contest or promotion, obviously, this is where it will be held. joining in is optional, however it is encouraged because of the awesome prizes that may be given out, check back here in case something good is going on.
advertising and affiliates • (3 sub-boards) want to advertise your site, maybe even affiliate with us? well, you’ve come to the right place. feel free to advertise and affiliate, however, please stick to our rules!
staff room • (2 sub-boards) this is the secret board that staff members are only allowed to access, here, we will discuss important plans for the roleplay, so naturally, it’s a password protected board. that’s so nobody will find about what we’re planning, making it a big secret for all you members.

graveyard • (3 sub-boards) all dead and inactive threads go here, they will be locked when moved here so if you would like to revive a past thread, please make sure to pm the admin, so we can sort that out for you.
character profiles • (1 sub-board) this is where you will visit after you have read all the rules carefully, after that, you may create your character. please remember that you must be accepted before you may actually roleplay and keep all the rules in mind, we don’t want to see mary sue’s running around. so have fun creating your character and we will accept them as soon as we can, please be patient as we can’t be on 24/7.
personal computers • the personal computers are stored here and is encouraged to make one for each of your characters. this way, all members can look at your characters pokémon, achievements, items and other information you want to keep about your character, it a good method to keep track of everything and useful to the staff as well.
character extras • (3 sub-boards) want to plan out a mini plot with someone, looking for family, friends, lovers or rivals? well, this is the right board to do all that in. here you can create character plots and also write journals for your characters, jotting down events which happens in the coordinators life on the golden islands.
rivals • (2 sub-boards) in this board you can register for a npc rival that will be controlled by the staff of golden islands. like the games, your rival will randomly pop up in your journey now and again to challenge or talk to you. be prepared!
onyx harbour • before you get on the large ship that transports you to the first golden island, there is a small building you are directed to. this is where you will receive a starter pokémon as well as items, to help you on the first part of your journey. the owner of this house is also the captain of the boat you will be travelling on, so it would be best to be polite to him. otherwise he may not allow you access on his ship, if that happens, well, i hope you’re a good swimmer.
emerald island • (4 sub-boards) the emerald island is one of the smallest islands, the place is mostly inhabited by forest, lush and green surroundings all around, making grass, flying and bug types the most abundant here. flowers grow in bunches everywhere, especially rare ones that don’t grow anywhere else, it’s peaceful and calm here and some of the flowers are even illegal to pick, due to their rarity. the town sits just outside the vibrant forest and has all the essentials, this is a beautiful place to visit and even the contest hall has taken a floral look to it.
sapphire island • (4 sub-boards) as soon as you step off the dock, you’ll come face to face with a large and beautiful lake. water trainers will love it here, the lake attracts them more than any other pokémon, there is also a small shop near the lake, which sells fishing rods and other useful items. another forest is on this island, however it is vastly smaller than the one on emerald island. a river flows from the lake and through the forest, which leads straight to the town and contest hall on the other side of the forest.
garnet island • (5 sub-boards) garnet island is the home of the large mountain that you have to pass through, to reach the town and contest hall on the other side. this is the home of the rock, ground and dark types, they thrive here the most in the tunnels and steep pathways. before entering the mountains, there is a few shops, this will be a long journey so you must make sure that you are fully prepared to tackle the danger. on the other side is the welcoming town, as well as the contest hall which is located on the outskirts.
opal island • (5 sub-boards) we hope you have your boots on, opal island is covered in swampy lands which are a pain to travel through. poison types are abundant here and fire types are very rare, it’s hard to travel through the swamp but it has to be done, there is a path marked out for the coordinators, showing them the safest route through. the small ranch town is home of a contest hall, egg ranch and the abandoned underground laboratory. the underground lab is crawling with electric types and if you manage to find a special item down there, you can trade it in for a safari pass!
diamond island • (4 sub-boards) the island is probably the most difficult to get across, what with the large ice cavern you have to walk through and all, only pokémon that can face the cold can survive here. the cavern resides underground, and is the only way through the mountains that block the path from the town on the other side. however, it is very dangerous, the villagers have placed flame torches everywhere, so coordinators can see but other than that, they are on their own to face the cold and confusing paths. the contest hall is decked out in an ice theme so even at the town, you better keep your warm clothes on.
topaz island • no coordinator may enter the topaz island unless they have all five ribbons that the golden islands have to offer. the grand golden festival only takes place a few times a year so there is enough time to gather enough coordinators to take part in trying to win the grand cup. there are a few facilities here for coordinators, including an inn, shops and a small training ground. this is the final step, you have come so far and the judges of the golden islands wish everyone the best of luck.

THE OTHER ISLANDS
jasper island • (3 sub-boards) the jasper island is one of the only islands which does not have a contest hall on it, really, it is optional to go here but is advised if you like sandy beaches and clear blue seas. fire pokémon flock here the most, as well as water types, who enjoy the vast stretch of sands and dunes to play in. on the island is a spa, for you and your pokémon to relax and get pampered, which is located right near a grand hotel, just for the coordinators to stay in. did i mention it’s all free on jasper island?
pearl island • i hope you managed to get a safari pass from the opal islands because if you haven’t, there isn’t a chance of getting in. much like the other safari parks, all types of pokémon live here, even rare ones are more abundant. there is a time limit to your entry though so there is no time to waste! also there are some rules to follow so it’s strongly advised to check out the guide to the safari park before entering.
amber island • this small and quiet island has been set up for the coordinators of golden island who wish to purchase a small house of their own to call home. the small bungalows look almost the same on the outside but on the inside, the coordinator can do whatever they please. there are some shops as well as a large park, where you can train your pokémon for any upcoming contests.
